FAQs

Hopefully we’ll have most questions answered below, but if not just contact us

What time does the band arrive?

We can arrive at whatever time works for you. If performing at a wedding we’ll wait for the meal and speeches to finish before setting up. This takes up to 90 mins. If you have the space and you’d prefer we set up before guests arrive, just let us know and we can discuss.

How long does the band play for?

We’re flexible but we usually do two sets each of 45-60 mins, and can even do a third if required. We suggest the band start midway through the evening and end as close to midnight as possible. We can provide playlists for when we aren’t playing.

Can I pick the songs?

With a huge list of songs in the band’s repertoire, you’re bound to have your favourites. We welcome a short list of do’s and don’ts a few weeks in advance. And of course we can learn a special song (eg. first dance) if needed.

What happens between sets?

We can include music to cover the whole evening, even when we’re not playing. We have a playlist already but will happily plug in your device if you prefer.

What if a band member falls ill on the day?

We have a trusted group of musicians that we can call upon in an emergency, so rest assured you’ll have a first-class band.

Does the band bring their own equipment, what do we need to hire?

We come fully self-contained as far as PA sound system and provide lighting.

Our venue requires a copy of the band’s PLI and PAT, what is this and does the band have it?

PLI (public liability insurance) – we are insured to protect us from possible injury claims.
PAT (portable appliance testing) – it’s not required by law but many venues will request a copy. Just ask us and we can send it through.
